According to Della Corte, the initials of the unknown named tenant of the Poppaei, are all that is known.
These initials were found on a brass signet ring found here
– P. C. F. (S.12 bis, See Notizie
degli Scavi di Antichità, 1929,
p.469, no.227)
Also found incised on these rustic walls were many records of accounts, CIL IV 8391.

According to NdS,
a little above the architrave of the doorway, were four large holes (two of them can be seen in the above photo), and a row of smaller ones indicating the presence of a canopy originally.
